to see with with widening dominance

where you pay them to transport by

your hand so that their dominion

increases so you, serf you stretch

their net so your lords your Masters

are bigger those old worlders who

never die their eyes increase like

spiders and see MORE



A L L T H I N G S

N E W A G A I N

each generation each

group of people represent

a new skills set a new

interest a new type of tastes

a new set of values or not

so new because those do not

change with time is it what

changes is our collection of

A C C E P T A N C E



A N G E L H A T E

A N G E L L O V E

angel hate is wrapped up in each

cell of our bodies and so is angel

love we are formed in the balance

of those below and those above we

hang precariously in the precipice

soar above if we take on weighty

matters as if they are our own we

claim them these matters claim us

we become who we are meant to be

we soar above land above air above

time like an angel angel hate frowns

on what we do they are so jealous

they know what heaven is like they

want it all but cannot have it and so

they try to take from us again with

each new generation they are there

to greet us with false promises of

guilt-free angel hate angel love is

ever watchful so often we do

not know that if we only listen

we can hear judicious advice

meant to protect us from

her heart mimic-ed a real one

her heart pumped a derivative

of artifice an oracle of sorts

that posed as a system of

tubing developing osmosis

or evaporation or doing things

like substitution with the right

things so they were the wrong

things saying yes instead of

saying no the heart went out

instead of in and it pumped

out carbon instead of OXYGEN

her eyes had that

look of black rocks

a pit in the stomach

she was faraway CRAZY

this cat without WORDS

who could only be heard

in moans and GROWLS

and cat-nipped FROLICS

how wrong a look came

out it was WILD yet

playful not part

of a JOKE

but a joke nonetheless

this ANIMAL savage

who would no more

BITE you with

its claws

than a HUMAN

but GLASSY

ORBS

full of blind

DARKNESS

probing my

stare

glaring SNIDE

commentary

saying

BEWARE

pass by

and

take

your

C H A N C E S



B L U B B E R

I feel big I feel

bigger I feel broader

than before it is not

a boredom to say

it was behind all

the large clothes

purchases I needed

it was important to

feel C H E A T E D



C A N O F V U L

deep in the core the beating

of hungry hot dark cane cries

for sacrificed breath brethren

extinguishing Ash Can of Vul

throws down the dry earth and

roars loudly with its slivered

claw magma stigma maw saw

cables running Internet pin

cushions of pinioned and

opinionated canyons of

ideologies of trapped trouble

gases of helium rising surprising

the nebulous into underground

tubes of V U L C A N



C A N N O T

R E M E M B E R

this isn't age talking or a

mental decline that started in

preschool it is wonderful to know

that your brain is not full of clutter

wait was that a flutter a heartbeat

offbeat or an eye tick what

a prick or trick not that it matters

it is supposition this mental

to the coffee god the one

who looks over the kitchen

our altar our coffee maker

our offering our GROUNDS

it was cold the illness

was hiding from the light

hiding from the night it

was not sight it was sig-

nificant that it was sent

by the postal service in

the form of a letter stating

the mail box rental had gone
