A well-known road

There is a fine screen of leaves colors

—red, brown, yellow—running with the

morning breeze coming from the east.

They are the children of the lines of trees,

standing at attention on both sides of the road.

Orange-red—yellowish finches fly

from one tree line to the other,

joggling through passing vehicles

at speeds beyond nature as if they were

trying to break a human barrier.

Its asphalt has lightened from the jet-black

that once shined under the tree feet

dotted white rural lines on its center.

Then, it curves slightly to its left to lose

itself in the silhouettes of the mountains

drawn from left to right into the Yonder.

Pinzones anaranjados-rojos amarillentos vuelan
